WOW. Was looking to replace my aluminium prop with stainless for my Yamaha 40hp but couldn’t find same size. Email and got a quick reply and they advice to best serve my need, to confirm my boat maker and size. They came back with a stainless prop model that they recommended, this model is a bit smaller that previous but they explained why they think it would be a better fit. Well, prop arrived last Thursday, installed it and went out next day for a dive, 84 km round trip. Now here is where the fun starts.
**Normally, I would get around 3.7km/ltr, I got around 4.3km/ltr.
**Normally, I use to go around 18knots @4800rpm or 16.5knots @4500rpm
I got around 20knots @4500rpm
Save fuel and get there quicker, just what Santa ordered 🙂
